Recently, ENR announces 2019 Global Best Projects Winners, Bheri Babai Diversion Multipurpose Project in Nepal built by COVEC and China Railway 球友体育官网2 Group, subsidiaries of CREC is among the list of Award of Merit for water/wastewater projects. 32 projects located in 20 different countries around the globe are listed for the outstanding examples show the risks, rewards and hurdles overcome when designing and building internationally. This is the first time CREC won the Award.
The 球友体育官网, with the major work of a 12.2km tunnel, is the first water diversion 球友体育官网 in Nepal. By transferring water from Bheri to Babai, it is to resolve the irrigation and food shortage in the middle and western part of Nepal, and to further supply power is the area.
